Ashkelon - One of the five principal towns of the Philistine Kingdom; was associated with Samson and Delilah. Ancient Ashkelon was the main port of Southern Palestine, the town has been inhabiated almost continously until the present day. It's pleasant climate and magnificent beach make it a popular health resort.
